Let your dog get a minimum of an hour of exercise every day, and do this in addition to standard breaks outside for potty and training. Utilize primary reinforcement when training your furry friend. Primary reinforcement uses something that is inherent for the dog to love as a reward for good behavior. Primary reinforcements include using food as treats and rubbing your dog’s belly. When he likes the outcome, he’ll be more likely to follow your commands.

To ensure your dog’s good behavior, keep up its training throughout its life. A dog’s learning doesn’t stop when it leaves its puppy stage. If you reinforce desired behaviors, you will ensure your dog’s continued obedience, and by continuing to discipline your dog, you will prevent negative behaviors from appearing.
